Summary: Defective Watches
Comment: After ordering, receiving and having to return 3 of these watches, I give up. Apparently Amazon and some of the companies that sell through Amazon have received a defective batch of watches from the manufacture. All 3 watches, had START buttons that would not depress making it impossible to even get the watches to activate. Amazon was great about returns but doesn't appear to be taking measures to correct the products shipped so buyer beware if you're looking to order one of these. You too maybe be spending your time going to and from the Post Office.

Summary: Do not buy if you have a small frame!
Comment: This HRM is huge. I bought it because of all the things it can do and when I got it, it did everything but take my heart rate...which defeated the purpose of getting it. I tried and tried to get it to work (I switched wrists, stopped exercising to take my HR) but it still wouldn't work. My boyfriend decided to try it and he had no problems with it, However, he also has a bigger frame than I do. I would not purchase this product if you have a small wrist, body frame. I exchanged mine for the Mio Petite classic and I've had no problems with it

Summary: I'm in love with it
Comment: I have had this watch for 1 week now, and so far I think that it is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. There are just two negatives for me which are not really problems. This watch was supposed to come with an all black interchangealbe wrist band. They instead sent me the grey and black band that the other version is sold in. Actually I like the two tone look. The other thing is that the watch is bigger than the motiva petite, so there is more plastic that seems like it will be much easier to scratch and look less attractive quicker. However, I like the bulkiest of the watch, I have big wrist.
The things that I like best are that the heart rate management seems to be accurate, your finger tips do have to be moist but, if you are working out hard there will be sweat available. It feels odd to keep licking your nasty finger tips during a work out. Nevertheless, no chest strap! The calorie's burnt may not be as accurate, but that is almost immpossible without advanced medical equipment. It comes with a cute little paper back book full of great information.
Well wish me well on my weight loss journey, I'm excited and ready to make it happen. This watch does motivate you to stick to the basics, burn off more than you put in.

Summary: good but h/r has problems
Comment: This watch is good except for the heart rate monitor which sometimes gives inaccurate readings. During a workout it will read my heart rate is 80 when it should be in the 150's. This only happens sometimes but then your calories burned is off. This watch is good though and better than the others out there.

Summary: Doesn't work well at all
Comment: Based on the reviews for this product, I expected great things, but was incredibly disappointed. I first tried this watch when I went for a run. I could not get a heart rate reading without having to stop to a slow walk. I figured, maybe I am just moving around too much and can't hold steady while running to get a good read. I thought it would work much better in a spin class, so the following morning I wore it at a spin class, and every single time I tried to get a heart rate reading, I got nothing! I was defintitely doing everything according to the instructions. THe little "TEST" reading with the heart came up, but NO READING! I must have tried it at least 10 different times during the class. Needless to say, I am VERY disappointed with this product and am returning it. Unfortunately for me, the company charges a "15% restocking fee" which I think is totally bogus. Don't buy this product.
