Summary: nice little invention. Takes gettng used to.
Comment: I hate the mess of a water pik and I hate the time it takes to set up, etc. I Love standing in my warm shower letting the water pound on me. With this water pik I can stand around in my warm shower (big plus) and clean my teeth without making a mess. The shower water continues to flow, with only a tiny drop in water pressure, even when using the pik. As a result I'm now using a water pic daily and not just when I feel guilty. That has to be a huge plus. On the down side, it does take getting used to. The water pressure might be more than you want, although you can adjust it way down. The water is a constant flow and not the pulse of a more traditional pik. The first one I got would not allow me to adjust the water pressure and it was Way too strong. I called the number enclosed and I believe I may have talked with the man who invented it--he certainly was not an uncaring service person. Anyway a couple of days later I got a new one in the mail. The thing comes in a plain brown box without a lot of fancy packing. I've been using it for almost a year and I really like it.
