Comment: I saw this movie at a short film festival in Oklahoma City and loved it ever since. It was great to find a way to purchase the European film through Amazon.com.

Summary: Exagerated Prices At Used And New
Comment: This Film is fantastic. Very touching and very funny. I watched the film at the fantoche festival in switzerland and I loved it. I just recently bougt it at ebay for about 20$ (new). So I'm a bit shocked that it is offerd here for 80$ and more. Just wanted to point that out.
Anyway a fantastic movie I would recomend it to anyone.
(Exept the ones that hate all animated films)

Comment: This is a wonderful, quirky look at a little clay man. I found parts to be a good laugh and some held poignant sadness too. What these people did with clay is just short of a miracle. BUY THIS, WATCH IT, LOVE IT!

Comment: In one of Adam Elliot's shorts accompanying Harvie, a character says that life can only be understood looking backward but has to be lived forward. Harvie Krumpet is a film that lives forward and is quiet, funny, heartbreaking, exhilarating and all from minimal movement and maximum writing. Elliot is a writer who poetically puts stories together that are so close to the bone but so eccentric that one really doesn;t know what to feel while watching it. The end is always something that makes you want to sit and think for a while before speaking. His characters evoke Beckett in the 21st century with a wit and wryness that is Australia. Wonderful stuff that will stay with you for a long long time.
